With T610 you can only use the SMS alerts built in- T610 doesnt support new alerts.

If you use win XP just connect with IR then right click whatever you want to send to your phone and click on the 'send to computer'
This option will only appear when IR is connected

Its the easiest way without messing about with software.

PS. 'fma' is the best software out there

Just thoght i'd make it clear what the "send to computer" option was.

Yes, if FMA doesn't work for you, you just connect your IRDa dongle to your pc and for XP, a new shortcut comes up on your desktop "wireless link" or "send files to another computer" and the sign is a laptop or computer with rays coming out of it, just drag what you want to send into this shortcut and i t will send.

@m2xdam, how does this software work? It doesn't install as when you run the exe file there is an error message, and there are no setup/install instructions on your website or in the zip folder.

Posted by m2xdam
What error message does it give? Indeed there's no install. Just place the executable and dll's in 1 directory and run it. There's 1 prerequisite: You need the Microsoft .NET Framework installed.

Posted by buckle247
Ok put everything into one folder but still got the error.

Think i have the .NET stuff installed, doesn't it come with windows messenger, so that you can sign into .NET websites.

Posted by m2xdam
No, it does not come with MSN messenger. It looks like you are indeed missing the framework. Go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com where you can install it as an update.

k got it working, looks good. are you planning on any updates like sms compatibility?

Posted by m2xdam
Yes, I will have a look at it. My main focus now was the phonebook and OBEX.
