The comparison you make isn't very accurate in my opinion as it doesn't take into account the different factors, which contribute to murder rates. For instance, North Korea has a population of almost 23 million people,yet the murder rate in North Korea is nowhere near the levels in New York City, which has a smaller population. There are other factors than the size of population to determine the murder rate of a particular region.

When I have been in Turkey I have had bought a nice ilustrated book of Turkey. I've known the pictures very well. I am very sorry but I have never been to Istanbul that is the most beautiful place in your country. Hope I will visit your country in close future
