Thank you for providing a insight full and supportive website,
However there are rooms for improvement...
1) If possible to start a Instant Chat Room where all queries can be answered in real time..!
2) Where you provide information on the Latest firmwares of the phones, is it possible to add the version history somewhat like winamp does each time it introduces a new version it list all the flaws in the old and upgrades of the new.
Keep up the forums..!

well, Instead of a chatting software thats usually found elsewhere.. i was suggesting somewhat like in the old times when the web started there was this chat site called www.xoom.com or something like that..So basically esato members can enter the fourm chat room without downloading any software...

Why do you guyz want esato to be a crappy chatroom. Dont you know that esato is for quality mobile phones helping posts in a forum and not some simple chit-chat lines in a chatroom. The thing with a forum is that the messages is stored in a database so you can help the people that is not online at the moment you are posting. In a chat you will only help the few people that is online at exactly the moment you are chatting. So i myself is not for a chatroom.
I have seen alots of threads about a chat earlier and there was also some guyz that tried to start a chat in some of the threads but it was popular for about one day and then it died. So i doubt that your chatroom will end the same way as all the other.

The Esato Chat Room for those who want one.
Then... for somebody who has a genuine problem and needs a question answered, obviously a thread on a forum has a much better chance of getting noticed by the ppl who know than a quetion in a chatroom, which is only read by the ppl who are actually there at the time. So in that respect I would have to concur that chat is a useless medium.
I can understand ppl wanting a place for 'chit-chat' (i'm quite famous for having a lot of off-topic posts to my name myself
) but I do not come to Esato looking for a chat room. i come to read up, chat to a few i know around here. If I wanted chat I'd have gotten on IRC a long time ago.
From my point of view, although i have nothing against a chat room, it is kind of obsolete on a forum, as all we do is talk anyway

There was some chat rooms, but all died. Even laffen created Esato chat room, I think, but that died too.

laffen knew about the irc esato channel that was invented over a year ago, that no one used after about a week.
Same thing happened with the chatroom thread as far as i know
and same will happen to other attempts!

Well the suggestion is taken in a different light..What i suggest is that A Real time chat mode could be provided to users and the thread system will be essential core of all esato forums, This way those who want instant answers or solutions will not have to go through the task of checking the threads as and when updated.
Definitely if you start a chat in a thread it won't last cause who takes the trouble dude..!
I hope my point is understood..!
