hello folks can any one of u tell me what r imy's and how to convert them into tones thanks

Welcome 2 esato. Imy's are tones made for ericssons after the T65 (which uses emy's) although all new ericssons can accept both of them.

IMY's are iMelody's, they work on most of Sony Ericsson's phones from T68i onwards and a couple of Sagem's. To covert monophonic midi files to iMelody, i use nok2phone from http://www.ringtonecity.com - you can download a few imelodies and some other stuff at my web and wap site http://www.jaggie.co.uk/wap

thanks a lot for the prompt help. One more question

what do you mean with 'tones'?

Yeah, IMY's are tones. You can put them on SE's, and they play, just as monophonic ringtones.
