Copying MP3s to HBM-30 via P800

Does anyone know if its possible to copy MP3s to the HBM-30 using the P800 USB connection rather than a memory stick reader? I used a file manager program to create an MP3 folder on the mermory stick and copied some tracks to it but the HBM-30 doesnt recognise the files on the card...

I had problems with this player. It's fussy about MP3 types and formats. Using MusicMatch it only plays 128kb/s or above encoded MP3s and Real player only 96kb/s or above. Won't play MP3Pros. 192kb/s is the max supported.

Does that make sense?
