I stumbled across this site while browsing eBay. Look at the prices, is this site legit?!?
Anybody used them??

Don`t touch them they are conning people left right and centre!! I ordered a phone for my mum using her credit card, the money was taken that day and two days later she received a letter telling her that there was a problem and that they could not send the phone until she had given more credit details, passport details etc etc!! When I contacted them saying that we felt that they were not legal I had a reply saying that they were no longer trading and it looks like they have pocketed the money!! We have no phone and they are ninety pounds better off

I bought a nokia 7250 from them, I too thought I got ripped off, then something really strange. I got as refund yesterday. I think this is a case of someone with bad grapes talking above. Email them as I did and ask for either the phone or a refund.

I have found that dealing with companies like freedom4mobiles and paypal and nochex gets you nowhere by emailing them, this is evident by them closing down their email account.
I wrote a letter to them and sent it by recorded delivery to the address, in manchester.
I asked " Why cant I have I not been sent the phone I ordered and also when I can I get my money back ?"
Within a couple of days I got a reply (This I did not expect), they told me that people had been placing fake orders and that if I simply wrote to them, and sent a copy of the nochex confirmation email, that I recieved, that within a couple of days I would get my money back.
I DID GET A FULL REFUND.
My advise to get a letter to them asap and just ask to forward a full refund by return. The chances are you will get it.
I can honestly say, that it has P*ssed me off trying to prove I paid, them, but at the end of the day. I know I havent been scammed.
I advise everyone else to do the same.

In reply to my previous E-Mail that has been said to be a case of Bad grapes (think you mean sour) I have still not had a refund despite numerous promises and my letters to them are now ignored so think yourself very lucky if you were one of the one`s that got your money back!!

Can you not file a claim through your credit card company? Dispute charges, claim money back for non-delivery... anything?

if i'd have paid by credit card then i could have done, but i paid with my debit card and i dont think i have that protection on a debit card! does anyone know???

I am one of the lucky guys, that got a refund. I am sorry to hear that you have not got a refund yourself yet.
Why dont you go to your bank and explain the situation to them and ask for a chargeback to your card. This way, your not going round in circles.
I saw some information a few weeks ago a ebay forum, about freedom4mobiles and how they have refunded everyone. Under the post were replies from people like myself, who had been refunded.
It seems strange to me that they would give some people their money back and single out others. If I was you, I would write another letter to them, telling them that you have hired a solicitor and your are prepared to go to county court to get a CCJ placed on their names.
This will cost you more money, but at least you will stop it happening to anyone else, who pays a company for goods and they cease trading.
I think people will thank you for it as well.

In the UK, if you pay for anything over £100, and the company goes bust before you receive the goods, the card company is liable for refunding your money. It's then up to them to go and get their money back from the bust company.
It seems a little sus. that they took orders for £95 right before they closed opeartions. Maybe they saw a loophole to get some cash in...
Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll be at the very bottom of a long list of creditors. When a company goes titsup like this, everything is sold off, the banks, etc are paid off first, and customers are paid last out of what is left. Very often, they get nothing.

I have just found this thread through google. I really need a mobile.
I used freedom4mobiles and got my money back, but I really wanted the phone because it was so cheap.
I got my money back as well, I wanted to have the phone as a present for my daughter for her birthday.
When I got a letter, telling me that I had to send I.D. I emailed them straightaway and requested my money and to cancel the transaction.
I was further told that I had to wait a week.
I happy to say, I got a refund. This was weeks ago though.
