How to change the screensaver?

I have the animated gif files,but as i send the file via the IR,they can't change to the screensaver on the phone because the phone realize a"X",means nothing by the file.Can anyone help me?

It works on mine. How big are the files you're sending? DO you have enough memory?

My file is 16K,and the memory is enough,676K remain,what is the problem to my file?

Try sending it over again, I believe that "X" means the file is damaged (Either it has the incorrect extension, which can happen to anyone, or you cut the transfer before it could finish).

The X usually means that the file/picture-size is too big.

At least thats what it means when you try to transfer pictures that are too big.
