Hello guys..Ive finally decided that its time to change my trusty SE T68I and im having a hard time making up my mind on the next phone that i shld get..Im basically stuck between the SE T610 and Siemens SL55..Hows the T610? I heard that it has a poor RF performance in reviews..But is it poor also in singapore's 900/1800 network..Cause i believe that the reviews were based on the 1900 network..Is the bluetooth conection between the hbh60 and t610 really that bad?How abt the siemens sl55's rf performance..does anyone know if its gd?Is the polyphonic of the siemens as gd as the one of Se?

i have the HBH 60 with t610 and with the new sw upgrade it solve the crackle sound .. and the poly is loud but you have to enhance the midi b4 dl it to ur ph .. as the sl 55 is only 256 the screen on t610 65k colour

nope. it can only play wavs, midis and imelodies as a ringtone.
NEway, does anyone know how much a T68i faceplate cost in singapore? has NEone tried changing a t68i faceplate by himself? did the warranty get voided?

Just upgrade my T610 (english input) to additional Chinese Input today with T9 function. Only whose IMEI number start with 351252...... can upgrade to chinese input. after upgrade software version become:
R1L013
prgcxc 12-5585_CHINA_2
Upgrade chances:
1) Chinese Input under Language.
2) stand by clock font and size change.
3) incresing ringtone to "On" and "Normal" (but the ringtone still sound the same with incresing ring).

Yes. All T610 can have Chinese sms dl input. But there are certain sets cud not just using dl method and have to change the hardware. Don't worry, is free. The SC will do it for you. Just bring your phone and warranty card to SC. REMEMBER!!!! Must bring Warranty Card.

Anyone know if the Goldhill SC can flash a T618 to the R1L firmware? I know I'll have to pay, and sign the "if we f your phone, it ain't our fault form", but I've done that before
I called and their answer was "bring the phone in and we'll try". But I know I'll have to take a number, wait in line, etc, and then have them tell me "pick your phone up tomorrow" or something. It seems to me that the only difference between the T610 (w/ Chinese input) and the T618 is the games and wallpapers. If anyone can help me from wasting my time I would greatly appreciate. I just want the new camera features. Oh and by the way, my phone clicks and creaks now after a few weeks of ownership. I think they will all loosen up like this after a while, especially under heavy SMS use. My T68i was the same way.

People R3C update for T610...
new thought abt the firmware...
SE has fix the prob for the phone's raw displaying of the pics taken by T610 itself . wat i thought is that certain compression of the pic files not taken by the cam of T610 will still be displayed in the RAW so the prob is only partially solved...
hope SE will fully fixed this prob in the near future....
The above is my personal opinion on the issue ....
SECentral is currently down will post this inside the forum whrn it is up again.....
U are welcome to either post ur opinion on the issue here or SECentral when it is up and running....

I can't decide whether to go ahead and get the P800 or wait for the P900 to come out. I want the P900, and do you think it's feasible to get the P800, then when the P900 comes outsell the p800 and get a p900?
i HATE the wait... When is the P900 coming out? One thing that holds me back from getting the P800 is the lack of t9... Yup I know that there's always handwriting recognition, but I really really prefer text input on the keypad... So I want the t9 in p900.
another thing i'm curious about - Is the p800 keypad flimsy? does it crack the screen if you aren't careful?
if the p900 takes too long to be released i won'tbe able to keep my hands off the p800...

for the t68i, there is a viewing size limit of .gif files. im not sure of the limit, but u cannot view gifs that are too large...
