good news for those who only can make it on saturday cos they open till 5pm

wander if u ppls knew that 7650 and 3650 both had video recorder enable. so what is next for SE???
though it might be 11sec but it a value added function for a handphone. and with the DL of the Photographer SW provide by openbit. address can be found in http://www.openbit.com/products/photographer.jsp nokia 7650 and 3650 can zoom up to 4X so what is it going to be got SE to compete now? (the above function is not known by N*kia fashion creeps in SG yet as they are juz fashion creeps lol)
maybe we had laugh at N*kia 7650 as brick bro.
so who is laughing at who now? considering the recorder and zoom function for a normal hp user? as compare to P800
think SE really got to be more effective in their mktg and R&D aspect if they really wish to have more SE user.
if they are juz fine with their demand now than i think i really got to jump ship liao. as someone did mentioned that loyalty means nothing to THEM.

cheers!!!

hope T610 delayed is to have the recrding function so i can walk upright when i have the phone.

They finally agreed to continue to operate in the evening.
Compared to Nokia, this is no where near. They open Sunday and public holiday too. many open right up to 0930pm.

That is not true. I visited one of the shopping center which has a Nokia center in there, Usually there is little people on Q. You have forgotten that Nokia center are mostly located in shoping center (which is very good and easy to get access). Also their center usually has a sales counter (for phone and accessories). So they follow the stndard shopping hours !

cool dow ...... u have to remember that NCC is run by NOkia whereas SESC is run by 3rd party, yeah u're rite that they need to change the way the manage SC, i also hope they also doing something to cope with the others

It's not the operating hrs that are important, it's the service the service center provides that really matters. Just a word of thanks and confidence that I had for the Kallang Pudding SESC

To make it short, does Nokia Service Centre provides FREE replacement spareparts for a phone that does not have any more warranty but died after a firmware upgrade at the service centre?

Cheers

Posted by acidfusion
hey does any1 here uses nowmms.com? the free mms thingy? i can't seem to sign up. some prob with the mobile no. in intl format. wad do i enter?

Posted by alex
@acidfusion,

They d upgarde of firware for free even the phone is out of warranty which is something SE never offer. You mention about Kallang SC. I think that is the worse SC I ever seem. For any small problem, they isisted you leave the phone behind !

Posted by adnhk1
well, at least my friend who recently visited them had a very good experience. See, its supposed to cost him money to upgrade the phone's firmware, but then they later called him up and told him his phone is dead after flashing! So he went down to the SC and spoke politely to the Customer Service that he would like to speak to a manager or some1 with a higher authority. Though the customer service officer said no managers were around (can u believe it?) on that Saturday, my friend just leave the place and ask for some1 to call him up the following week when some1 is around. Even though it took them almost 2 wks to call him up, the call was a very positive one that the management had agreed to replace the sparepart (which is $208) for him totally FREE, which is out of goodwill.

I think if SE Singapore can continue this type of good customer relationships, they will sure be able to at least maintain their current loyal customers, if not better, woo many many Nokia customers over too. And we, as consumers, should maybe also play our part in that we be as polite as possible (I for one failed this test many times ), and hope that things will work out positively

Nokia's software need constant update cos they have so many things to be corrected so they cant demand user to pay or else they will loose all their customer.

small problem, NCC also ask u to leave the phone behind for thorough checking. just compare NCC with other brand's SC, do u see so long queue everyday ???

@bob_dog_83-> try to do this on ur phone k

go to menu and choose 'connect' then go to GSM network then choose search mode and put it to "Automatic"

my guess is ur search mode is in manual mode that's why when it goes to SOS mode, it wont come out from that mode eventhough the area u're in already have the signal.

TO P800 and cscs

Nokia is the number 1 here in singapore and it is no surprise they have video camera or 4x zoom.. in fact THEY SHOULD! else why give them the market leader

To the rest of the brand like samsung, sonyericsson, motorola and maybe even pansonic if we have feature better than number 1 leader is a improvement and bouns to us but if nokia come out is because they have to and they should.

SO I think All the rest of the manufacturer inculding SE is still trying their best to catch up with number 1 which is correct.

Remember SonyERicsson and not Ericsson is found for around 1 yrs only , so i think so far they are doing quite all right which of course there is still a LOT of room for improvement.

Hello SE are u listening?

I know this question has been ask many times but which is better HBH-30 or HBH-60? ( not in term of size ). Plus how good is the bluetooth set when connectd to the phone ?

By the way, is there going to be any SE phone
with at least 4k color without built-in camera? Cause my work place
is too sensitive for camera.

Thanks

dont think there is one from SE yet.....
and the upcoming T610 has got cam...
T310 only 256 colours.....
hmmmm seems like SE is not concentrating on non cam phones.....
cos every of their package after T68i has got cam with it....and all the unrelease ones

Guess may be your are to young to know that in early 1990s. Ericsson was the #1 in Singapore market (and may be in may other countrie - look at those Hong Kong TV series, almost most of them is either Ericsson or Motorola - never Nokia).

My 1st phone wa Ericsson, until the well know T10/T18 and T28 auto power off problem. Then I stop using Ericsson for many years until T600. The phone only stay with me for less then 5 months !

cscs-> it's true that last time Ericsson was one time market leader here in asia but dun forget they are now SonyEricsson and they just formed abt a year plus(if i remember correctly) so i can say that they somesort like new comer in this HP field so be patient, give them some time to win back all their old supporter (bet u were one of them rite?)

everyone is entitled to their own opinion so i respect urs

Sign up for Java enabled(T68) upgrade

http://www.petitiononline.com/8520/petition.html

Posted by P800
i think even they can be upgraded to jave enable the memory is not enough to support it.
its only a 1mb space.
unless they upgrade our memory too -

the fight between nokia and SE is a commericial problem. dun think it apply to us at the moment regardless who the market leader is.
but main concern is whether SE still can be within our mindset when buying the next handphone, the choice is up to SE.
if they think our mkt is small and neglect us. i think it not worth being a "loyal Customer" if u get nothing out of it.
though technology is the main concern for SE supporters but if SE think as long they can deliver it after others had launch will be good enough by all means switch and let them regret. we are the paying customer and we have the right to choose. SE will wake up when their mkt share fall to the maximum or they will juz pull out and that will be all for us.

for SE ; fail to plan is planning to fail.

Posted by pohsham
But the Nokia 6610 and 6100 only have around 700kB of memory... They still implement the Java function...

Btw, what is the latest firmware in Sg? I have a non-local set of T68m and would to upgrade it. Do they(SESC) charge me more?

I also have another problem with the dust on the LCD... Look so obvious in the 'clock' mode....
