Hi there!

Hmm, in the Philippines the local authorized Service Point is said to be preparing for the MMS upgrade for next saturday.

So some of the T68 users here are preparing for the MMS upgrade day, and if ever that doesn't push thru, we are going to have EB (get together) instead.

There is one topic somewhere in this forum that is talking about the bluespoon... Its better then the BlueTooth as in better and clearer transmission and also its cute looking... this is one site to see more about it http://www.nextlink.to and this site you can actually book at this site http://www.expansys.com you will have to explore this site...

questions.sg@support.sonyericsson.com and they will reply to you. From what I know about them, they are not the irresponsible type of service centre. People there are more friendly than GoldHill site.

Yes they will reply you when you first time email them, after that they will block your address and you will never get to ask them for the second time. I've try it many time.

Posted by orang3
what kayla said is not true ... i email SE a few time and they reply to my ...i mean the 1 in the SE website ... not the 1 at kallang pudding

Thks clody, looks like one of the star wars robot head. He He!

Wonder when the bluespoon will arrive on Singapore shores .... I hope theres a distributor here in Singapore ... Hope that the distributor dun rip the consumer by raising price higher than HBH 15 ... I heard the bluespoon is relatively cheaper than the HBH 15

Posted by orang3
it is not .. the blue spoon is listed 60 pounds more than the HBH 15 .... it is like 120 SGD more ... if u 1 i can sell u my HBH 15 more .. and i can buy my bluespoon ... i guess if would not reach spore ... tht way few ppl would have it .. ehhehehe you can order on net like i did /...

Posted by kimmjio
yea .. but I dun trust net transactions and I dun have a freaking credit card ! ... and 120 more is too much for me ... maybe after u got the bluespoon u can give us a review ...

kayla>- I understand a lot of ppl had been emailing to them, if they do not clear in time, the later one may not able to get through. Perhaps at that time their message was full and you are not able to send in. Just have to try again.

i've been wantin to get a t68i for sooo long... but the price is still too high la...dammit... you guys think a nokia 7210 will be more worth it than the t68i? i've been weighing the differences... and basically it comes down to polyphonic ringtones... and also stuff like bluetooth which i don't think i would use that much of cuz i can't afford the accessories! haha..

howz the t68i as a general phone? issit any good for sms? and is reception comparable to nokia phones?

Posted by kimmjio
well .. I think the 7210 will be a big hit at 1st .. then things will start to crap up with all the bugs and such and Nokia will by then release another bug filled color phone which the 'nokia sheeps' in Singapore will flock together to buy it again ...

Lets face it ... ppl in Singapore always think Nokia is the best ...

Posted by dairin
yeah i agree with u, that's why u see alot of ppl still buy n use nokia even when they know that nokia software is very buggy
no hard feeling but it's the reality

Posted by jess_strawberry
Here is another news for the Singaporean. I have a friend who is working as a promoter with the Sony Ericsson Road show. I ask her to ask her manager about the upgrade and was told that the sw is already on the server on the 13th May for the trainning group and the public will be end of the month.

Posted by TonyG
Let's put it this way. Nokia is good in marketing. They knew what our younger generations tatse. Fast SMS, easy to get downloading of ring tones, colorful interface,Xpress interchangeable covers, Chinese calendar, user friendly ...and with a lot of gadgets. Foremost important, they make it affordable to the youngsters. Of course we don't talk about the high end models. Just like Japanese cars, they have more functions and gadgets than continental cars to attract buyers. For the youngsters, who cares about phone technology, what they need is a cheap & user friendly phone that's all. That's the reason they can captured the market and became the most sellable handphone in all regions.

For the past 4yr nokia have captured the market because of easy sms and pic msg but other than that what have they improve. Their gprs sucks did you know that you got to reload it when you want to see the new data. Unlike se it refresh by itself.8310,6510,8855 these phone are nokia gprs phone and all hang like nothing.i think they are still not ready for gprs. So for 7210 i will think twice,

Posted by TonyG
nnyd999>- Wow! Is that so? I heard a lot of complain on the 8310. but I did not know their 6510 & 8855 (So call their upmarket models) also having such problems. If they do not want to retify the problems and keep launching new models, one of these days their sales will lose out to or other brands.

Hi all,

Got T68i & Ipaq 3870 from M1 !
Cool ....
Tried tranfer image file to T68i ..not bad !
Also tried bluetooth for both device ! Ok !
But any how to sync the contacts using Bluetooth ?
any GSM tools ?

Thanks

Posted by oedmund
i have discovered that when in standby mode my T68 actaully was like off.
as alot of my friends complaint to me that they could not get me most of the time.
they have to call a lots of time to get through.
and when they told me so i check my signal bar and it was at the optimal reception bar.
went to SESC they told me that they had to bring my phone in for check up and i told them i have juz purchase the phone less than 2mth and never drop b4.
anyone who have this problem and have solve it kindly let me know how to do it as i dun want to send my phone to them.
SW is R2b and R2d got nothing special so did not upgrade it.
operator is M1.
heard that M1 is not supporting Ericsson that well as Singtel dunno whether its true

Posted by clody
Well I am using my M1 with my T68i and there is no problem... But my friend did not mention to me about that problem for his T68 and he also use M1 in the T68 but nothing like this has occured... Have you crushed it before? like put anything heavy on it or maybe sat on it? It may also be a bug in the SW or have you exposed your phone to extreme heat?

Posted by oedmund
i didnt that the whole problem!
like what u said maybe its the software problem but now also no pt upgrade it as the mms software might be here any time depending how long THEY wanna hide it.
thks anyway!

Posted by oedmund
who ever have the software upgrade to mms kindly let all of us here as i getting a little impatient on their promises.
and i think they shld have more SC in here and we dun have to queue like hell to get our problems solve
Thks in advance!
