Understand that T39mc did not have the EMS like T39m have but is T68i with Chinese input (sorry I don't know the exact model no. for that) have the same disadvantage compare to T68i.
I mean compare both (T68i and T68ic) their features. Can anyone tell me from where I can get to know what do T68i(Chinese) have and what it has miss out compare to T68i.
Will T68i(Chinese) have EMS & MMS like T68i.

Please there is too many speculation about the new upgrade of sw can someone from se singapore come out and make a statement
Posted by clody
I think its really hard for them to come out with the sw that fast as I think that they are already going against their policy on having two different phones... The T68 and T68i... They actually want to separate this two phones but I think because of consumer demand, they have to do something... I just hope that the people going to upgrade the t68 sw to the t68i sw go through fine as no one knows if there is some bugs that maybe worst then what you are using in the t68 sw... Just try not to rush into things to fast and see if there is any fault before upgrading or you will regret as they will not be held responsible for the upgrade (because they ask you to sign something to tell you that they will not be held responsible)... Still hope for the best and I also hope that the T68i upgrade will be here soon...

i agree with clody .... n i think eventhough SE can come out with the software ,the network here is not fixed yet.
even M1 still doing trial until 15 june so maybe after Q3 then we can fully use the MMS network here
Just hope for the best guys

Today my friend call up se and was told that the new sw will only be out a month later
Posted by orang3
wow.... so ... long .... are they trying to test our patient ?
Posted by TonyG
See, what did I tell you all? I have a feeling that the sw may not be in Singapore yet. Probably it will come in next week and will do the testing. We all have to wait... and wait... "Tan ku ku" (Wait long long)

i am going to irritate them to hell .. if i dont get my SW next wk .. hehehe
Posted by clody
I think the sw slow because of Starwars lar... All the programmers are watching it and have skip work... hehehe...
Posted by TonyG
Or maybe due to Spiderman running around nowadays, a lot of bugs hiding in their sw, and they have to kill and clean it before sending for testing. That is the delay... Hee Hee Hee!

joopsg---->> i think you shld post at the acc for sale forum ....

The keypad lights varies for different batches of T68, the very 1st batch has very dim keypad lights which can only be seen in low light conditions. The later batches all have bright keypad lights which can even be seen under well-lit places. Mine was the 1st batch and I discovered this when I compared with my friend's recently bought T68 and found the keypads difference, that's when I brought it in to SESC and they told me this and according to them there's no way to upgrade the lights.

To think of it, if every T68 owners had upgraded their sw to MMS and works like a T68i, will this forum be still as active as now?

hmmm ... y not... we can chat on any other thing ... hehehe

sorry but i have not been logging on for a long time. yep, the lock is not toally joined or closed and the no. 5 besides it means you have 5 chances to key in the correct lock code. don't key in anything or you may accidentally lock it.
the blue velvet bag is nothing special as what the others have said.

ohh alright ... thks....

i saw in another post they say we might get the mms upgrade only.. not the full t68i sw ... the wap2.0++ imelody.. new T9.. can someone call SE and ask them if our upgrade is the full or just the MMS ????
Posted by orang3
i personally think SE is really unreasonable.... once i went down .. i fella brought his t68m for service .. told them the release clip with hold the batt came off and ask them to fix it back for him and they wanted to charge that poor fella 15 bucks.... the guy said it came off when he took out the batt .... and they told him the warranty does not cover that kinda damage ..... i think if ur vol slide comes out ... they might also ask you to pay .. to get it fixed......what do you think ... ??
Posted by TonyG
In actual fact Warranty is to cover all manufacturing defaults within a certain period set by the manufacturer. Whether it is a screw lose or a whole handphone mulfunction, the service centre has the obligation to rectify it. Unless it is due to misappropriate handling. If I were that guy, I will ask to talk to the technical manager. Probably he will know how to handle this type of complaint.

After mms sw i belive there will be other sw later to upgrade the phone but not so much thing different.
Posted by orang3
lucky it wasnt my set....i would be really careful when removing the batt .. hhehehehe
Posted by dairin
wuah not getting all the feature of t68i except the MMS ?? ru sure abt this orang3 ??
i prefer to get the rest of the features than MMS actually not very excited abt the MMS as the network here not ready for that
Posted by orang3
i am not very sure.. cause i saw the other post just now .. on the foru m.. thats y i ask of you guys to give SE a call to comfirm ....
Posted by clody
I think that they will make it like the T68i but not all like... Did you see a post where someone got his upgrade? He said that the messaging is better, everything is like T68i but not all like as there are some features that the upgraded T68 doesn't have as the T68i would have...
Posted by orang3
lets all keep our fingers cross..... and we'll wait and see....
Posted by dairin

orang3>- I know you frustration. Their phone line is hotter than calling Spiderman. The only thing is either you leave your message on their voicemail or email them at mobileta@singnet.com.sg, they will reply back to you.

orang3>- They did not reply back to you on your voicemail or e-mail?
Posted by orang3
both ..
Posted by TonyG
Tell you what! Send an email to them and cc a copy to Sony Ericsson
questions.sg@support.sonyericsson.com and they will reply to you. From what I know about them, they are not the irresponsible type of service centre. People there are more friendly than GoldHill site.
