Hi TonyG and Orange3! Its been a while since I last posted here. I'm here in Singapore now for a vacation. Where can I get the best deal for an mca-25? Where can I buy accessories for fuji digital cams with good prices? I'll be here till the 31st. Any help will be appreciated. hmm .. MBF ... TonyG have nt been here for some time .. also .. hehee ... my suggestion is to visit sim lim with a local friend .. but most ppl there have attitude problem ... they are like selling a fight rather than their products ... so .. i suggest you visit Funan ..as for the MCA 25 i have nt tried it myself .. if the R6a can zoom on it or nt .. i will try it tomorrow and review it for u ... if zoom is avi then it is worth it .. if nt i dont think it is ......

Hi Everyone,
I just bought a T68i, although the model has been out for quite some time and no polyphonic and java, I still prefer this over other brands eg Nokia.
Checked that my sw is R5C001. Is this the latest?
Heard that there may be a sw upgrade to polyphonic and java. True?
Any other tips from you guys?
Happy to own this t68i so far.

There will be no upgrade to polyphonic tones and most likely no java. Anyway, se (t300) uses the mophun platform which does not run java applications.

ok here's the story. in need of a pda, not expectin p800 till feb (after seeing SE .sg's letter, half sian already) so i was lookin 4 the NEC MobilePro 300E to use as cheap PDA. went to Mustafa (that place @ Serangoon) around 8pm, about to buy for $499, then thought "just go over to mobile phone section 4 a look and...
almost had a heart attack... $1275, w/ wrty too (but card by Cellstar). some Arab guy was lookin at it but changed his mind and chose a 7650 instead. It's his loss
Checked package - phone, cradle, charger, MS Duo, CD, cheapo canvas pouch, manuals, box, (did i miss anything?) paid $$$, went home.
So far so good.
Size is ok, for a PDA/phone. 158g is ok, expected for such a device, at least it doesn't drag down the pocket like the xda. But they could have made it smaller.
Superb screen. 4096 vs 65k colours - not much of a diff. At least to my eyes. Touch sensitivity could be better.
Nokia users, don't worry - the Ericsson "turtle interface" is gone (obviously, coz this is a Symbian phone!)
Jog Dial feels oddly placed. One thing: you can access most phone functions using the Jog Dial alone with the flip closed. Cool. FINALLY, can SMS without opening the &@*# flip (the old R380 couldn't).
Build quality is solidly excellent. 'Nuff said. The camera's in need of a lens cover though.
Don't dare to remove the flip. Sounds more dangerous than stripping an M-16 in total darkness.
Stupid 16MB MS Duo. Cheapos.
The apps... I think everyone's seen the manual and read all the P800 threads to death lah, no need to elaborate huh? anyway i haven't explored it yet but what i've seen so far, like the MP3, camera and video player... is impressive, man!
Camera - don't expect miracles. Good pictures seem possible only under good lighting conditions. That said, the viewer refresh rate is higher than the MCA series Communicams on T68/T300 etc. (of course lah, given their %!&* 12MHz processors).
Nice browser. HTML, i mean, man, like REAL Internet, man, is way cool on this thing!
The only bugs I've had so far were Ah Bengs beo-ing (gawking at) it. Then again it's been only 4 hours... more later. Heck, I just finished setting up GPRS (which took me a frickin' 2 hours! Got no help from StarHub or SE!)
