i am think abt getting a bluetooth headset... either the HBH 30 or the motorola 1 ... which should i get and suggestion ? the Bluespoon is out of point .. as it is too ex .. by the way any 1 with the motorola headset ... what is inc in the pakage ? or you knw where to get a cheap 1
Posted by MarkOng
I've heard quite a number of complains about the motorolla headset paired with the t68. Whether its due to the headset or the phone's sw, I'm not too sure. Why not wait for the hbh-60? Its smaller than the hbh-30, and probably not as costly too. I think the bs is not very practical especially in our society. I see people giving funny looks when people are using the bt headsets. Imagine what they would think if someone was using a bs. Probably think they're talking to themselves. Save our present generation, the rest of singaporeans are not really very technologically aware.

R2B- It may be a little slower, but definitely much more stable than any of the other upgrades put together. Absolutely no crashes.

TonyG, the p800 is tentatively planned for release on December in our country. It was initially set for a soft launch this month but due to bugs they moved it. A private presscon was launched for the press. Tried to get invited but it was futile. By the way, how much is the mca20 and hbh30 there? The camera is 187.27 sing and the headset 255.36 in Manila. Unfortunately, its out of stock now.
Posted by MarkOng
Just had this feeling about the P800. Not having any high hopes now. The constant delay really killed all my enthusiasm for the phone.
Say, where is TonyG anyway...?
Posted by orang3
hmmm .. P800 is not my type of phone ...
Posted by [C]yNo$
so ard when would it be released the HBH 60?
Posted by gilthoniel
wat colour is the goldhill building?
hey... no one told me whether i can upgrade to R2F instead?
Posted by MarkOng
Its brownish orange, next to a Shell petrol station if you're walking from Novena mrt.
Posted by orang3
i dont think so .. tht you can upgrade to R2f .. you got to ask them ..

Hi MarkOng,
I am still alive, Hee Hee! I did not write due to my pc had "Pengsan" for 10 days for repairing. Thanks, anyway. I also heard from SE they are releasing the P800 very soon. Now the newest sw is R5C. But it is for oringinal T68i and T68ic only. Those who had T68 and T68mc even upgraded to "i" version cannot dl it. I am one of the owner of T68mc, sigh!

My advice still is to forget any upgrades unless it is adding new features (m->i) or major improvements (sms tone). All of se's rushed release sw upgrades seem to be very buggy and getting worse and worse.

I currently have a ericsson t68mc upgraded to i.I wld like to know if it is possible to upgrade the software to r5c.Im currently using r2b.And izzit possible to upgrade to a software without the chinese characters? Cause i notice that with chinese character support when i choose the small fonts option the call list and phone bk are not in small fonts....
Posted by sunckc
by the way, just want to ask.. do i have to pay any charges to upgrade the firmware to R5C? right now my
T65m is under warranty. bought it just a couple of days ago.
thanks
Posted by MarkOng
No need to pay. Just waste an hour there only.
Posted by TonyG
Hi sonyericsson, Yes, I am okay, thanks! how are you? it had been a long time never hear from you too.
||| Xer Xes |||-> Nope, our mc version cannot be upgraded. Only actual T68i or T68ic can be down load as told by SE to me.
Guys, let me tell you all first. As confirmed by SE, this sw is not supporting the message alert tone. So, it is up to you all see whether you all intend to upgrade it.

just wanna ask, can i view my wap pages in offline mode? so that i do not have to download the pages all over again and that cost me for each kilobytes. by the way, will there be any more futre firmware upgrade for the T68mi? mine curently is R2E006.
Posted by MarkOng
You can only view the last page you visited offline. Just go to Wap and Resume. Only when you click a link from there will you be connected again.
Posted by sunckc
well thanks! it helps alot. at least i don't have to go thru page by page.

arrh .. any 1 have the same problem ?? i have a T66 as a spare ph and i seldom use it ..so i just leave it there in the cupboard .. and when i tried to on it it just wont on and when i try to charge it .. it just cannot be charged ... !!!!!! but when i used the same charger to charge my T68i .. it worked ..
Posted by benjamin
@orang3 Battery tends to discharge itself over a period of time. Nothing much serious i believe...
I could not turn on my t28 after i stopped using it for a while.I plugged in the charger to the phone and it took almost 1 day before there is any response...(charging)...

Has anyone tried the new panasonic (gd 87 i think) that they were launching at bugis junction? Quite a good price for the phone as when compared to the t68's first launch.
Posted by orang3
really !~! how much was it ? was it with the cam 1? or is it the gd68 the 1 without the cam?
Posted by |||XerXes®|||
@orang3
Hey if im not wrong you are using the mineral grey t68i rite?
Anyway where did you get it from?
Ive been searching for it and was not able to find it...
Do you have any idea how much it is?
Posted by [C]yNo$
frm singtel ..
Posted by orang3
yes i gt it frm sngtel ..
Posted by |||XerXes®|||
Are you sure singtel has the mineral grey?
Cause i went to singtel the other day and they only had the artic blue.
Anyway is the back of the phone in rubber like the t68m or izzit plastic like the t68i artic blue?
Posted by MarkOng
I can't remember the model number but its the one without the cam. The one where you can stick personalized pictures (real photos not downloaded graphics) into the back cover. Not a bad size phone but quite thick. Cheapest I found retailing is $368 2-yrs plan (singtel i think). Really cannot remeber much. Too stressed at work then got early symptoms of alzheimer's disease!
Posted by orang3
hhahah .. ok ok tht is the gd68 .. no good 1 ..la.. saw the review .. wait and see the gd89... the clam shell 1
Posted by |||XerXes®|||

it is the plastic 1 ..
Posted by [C]yNo$
you can change to the rubber 1 also .. up to you ..
Posted by MarkOng
yeah but the user interface is much better than the 7210 and the price is really good too. I paid $648 for my T68 and that has a 2-yr plan with it.
