If I am not wrong I think oedmund is talking about actual T68i upgrading and not T68 upgrading to T68i. Maybe the price is different.

and released on week 27- week 29. As calculated, it should be around 1st or 2nd week of July. He could not give me the actual date which I did ask him to confirm. However I will call them around this few days since he had given me an estimated date around this time and I will let all of you know the outcome once I have got the confirmation. Thank you for reminding me.

Yes I do, you can send it down to the SC to adjust the mike sensitiveness. It will be better.

BTW orang3, I do not know about GoldHill, but Kallang SC will loan you
a HBH10 or 15 depends on availability if they retain your Bluetooth. They may need some time to do the testing.

dairin-> Just to update you all some of the upgrading info. The original plan was
intend to wait for the CD and manual shipment to arrive first than they will released the upgrading programme together with the CD + munual. Since a lot of us are making many "Hoo Ha's" in the forum in regards of the delaying of the upgrading, decided to let us have the upgrading first. Luckily they did that. Or else if they were to wait for the shipment to arrive, I think by now we still have not had our phone upgraded.

No its not. None of our service providers support mms and they're still testing it out on the networks for the time being. You could go to www.phoneparadise and configure your phone with their server but I haven't had any luck there either.

The quality of the manual is not very good... Worse than the T68 manual...
Besides that, the info in the manual is not updated!!
Btw, what's the diff between the 'i' and 'ie'?? How do i know wheher i hav the 'i' or 'ie' version?

"i" is the English version whereas "ie" is the Chinese version. "i" version you can read Chinese but cannot write. "ie" you can read and write Chinese. And now "ie" had T9 English input. If your Handphone is T68,
than your upgraded sw is T68mi, if your handphone is T68mc, than your ugraded sw will be T68mie.

Errr.. My friends in M'sia said that I need to master reset the phone after the upgrade! Is it true?? if yes, what the purpose of doing so?? Quite confused!!
I'm still trying the new sw.... Is there any bug found at this moment?

Don't ever touch that master reset button, or else you will regret forever. After the upgrading, if you press the master reset, all your MMS picture in your phone will be totally erased. It cannot be retrieved back anymore. If you find any problem after upgrading, the best is to send it to
SC for checking. After all it is free.

TonyG,I need your expert advice. I was told that the only way to erase custom words previously added to T9 was to do a master reset. I can't seem to add to the dictionary anymore even if the phone pop up msg indicates word has been added. Do you have an alternative solution?

dairin-> I have just got my CD + manual this morning. And I just came back not long and have not explored whether is the manual same as our old T68. But from the contents I have browsed through roughly, it is definitely a new manual as the icons are all same as the T68i in the phone. That means the info in it must followed what the "i" series has.
Give me some time for me to read it through than I will be able to tell you.
BTW all you guys intend to get your CD + manual, pls bring along your paid upgraded receipt. And I heard the SP is also doing the distributing. So you all do not have to go all the way to the 2 SC.

Can you pls be more specific in your question? As I do not want to give you wrong infomations or mislead you due to miscommunications. As far as I know,those custom words in the phone cannot be erased. But if you talking on your own added one, frankly I do not know how to erase it yet which I have not done it before. But as I have mentioned it many times, whatever you do, pls don't touch the master reset button. Let the expert do it. I will post your question to
Singapore and I will make sure the sw Engineer will reply to you. Pls give them one or two days for them to reply. And I will post their answer back to you.

any 1 have had the T66 ?? if u have it you definetly 1 some feature in ur t68i /t68mi ... it can choose its own sms melody .. frm the list .... i got it yesterday .. and is still using my t68mi .. i is way cooler .. just hope
can get it in to our T68mi soon .. the smash in the game is also quite fun .. but the small buttons are irritating ..

TonyG, the problem with my t9 is that I can't see the words I have added in the dictionary. I assume I have already exhausted the maximum words allowed in its customization feature. For example if edit a word, it automatically gets added to t9. The new words added used to come up in the candidate pop up screen. But lately, when a new word is added, the word is only good for that message. When I compose a new one, t9 can't recognize or find the new word. No more memory on t9?
