I have configured my T610 to use CSD for WAP using the info I've found on this awesome site. Thanks to all the previous contributors.

I set up a DUN connection on my WinXP machine to also dial +19132440821, but it's not working as smoothly. Using either 208.014.205.005 or the server-assigned machine of 65.161.168.100 as my DNS server, I cannot resolve hostnames. Viewing the DUN's status shows that bytes are being sent, but no data is received after getting my IP address. Here is the info reported by 'ipconfig /all'.

PPP adapter T610 DUN over HSCSD:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : WAN (PPP/SLIP) Interface
Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-53-45-00-00-00
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.158.8.2
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.158.8.2
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 65.161.168.100
NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled

Has anyone done this successfully in the US? I'm trying to see if I can survive using my free nights and weekends for surfing with my 9600 BT connection before I spring for the $20 unlimited plan. I'll try using my SBC dial up username/password tomorrow in case this set up isn't possible.

Thanks,
AUSTraveler

Incidentally, do you need to sign up for one of T-Mobile's add-on packages before you can use APN internet2 or internet3 for GPRS? I've gotten GPRS working on the phone for WAP and over DUN (using APN wap).
