Aston Martin limited edition Motorola V600! on www.ebay.co.uk there going for £1000 is anyone daft enuff to buy one lol :-D

Posted by jplacson
That's cheap compared to the Vertu line of Nokia, or the limited edition solid-gold with diamonds T68m.. the Vertu line of Nokia starts of at US$24,000 and the diamond encrusted T68m went for US$35,000 if I remember right.

Lo did u buy1?

Posted by djburno2000
If i remember well also, what could explain the Vertu's high price tag was the secretary service called "concierge" (not sure). It's like having a personal assistant all the time, just call and ask et voila!

The Vertu is truely aimed to high revenues people that have a high living standard (otherwise why bother the personnal assistant?)

Other than that and the choice of precious metal casings the phone is just your "basic" tri-band phone. Nothing else...

But why is the V600 that much £££ all it has is a ASTO MARTIN logo on it and a engine clock thing, with a box and BT HEADSET,bit ludicrous that ppl are willing to pay that much for a phone whereas u can pick it up for £300 sim free ina shop! Lmao sum ppl i do worry bout! :-D

moto seems to like banding their phones with other companies.. like the limited edition harley davidson v60

they cant sell phones otherwise cuz everyone knows they r CRAP
the vertu line is by far the most expensive/best
the t68m diamond, I remember it being 3000$

The Moto Aston Martin Phone also features the grunting sound of a full throttle Aston Martin engine as a ringtone !!!

Regarding Vertu .....i came accross it in Selfridges London and had a little play around with one.....the sales guys as usual were pricks who knew nothing technical about the phone. I asked what the resolution of the screen was and how many colours it supports but they didn't know....i was suprised that they were selling such expensive phones without the knowledge of the technical aspects. When he saw my P900 he nearly fainted!! Both sales guys were WELL IMPRESSED with its features!!!

After playing around with it i asked him why the phones are so expensive when they have just the basic functions of a mobile phone and not even an infrared port let alone bluetoooth support he said " our phones are handmade in England like Bentley cars" We use software from Nokia but are an independent company based in the UK!!!

well when u hv a platinum plated phone
it is easy to understand

+ the concierge
and they upgrade ur phone to their latest model for free

how's dat for service?

Posted by Anuj
I swear he never even told me that its platinum plated. The phone would not be CHANGED to a newer model but purely upgraded in terms of a firmware/software update like our lovely phones and i reconfirmed that ! unless the sales gerks never even knew that

Posted by Miss UK
Lo dont dis me then im upgrading to the v600 ;-)

Posted by Rva@
Well if i could afford buying the car , i would also be able to afford the phone and the keychain ... :-) but i got bills to pay ...

Posted by Miss UK
With a car like that ur insurance wud go thru the roof :-D the phones is cheap on o2 btw it aint the limited edition enn if it was id sell it lol buy a new phöne and use the rest for a hol :-D

Posted by Rva@
I would be happy just to afford buying the P900 and then make a titanium cover at work , and it wouldn't be squeaky ! :-)

@fritz24 - a 2004 Porsche 911 Turbo GT, can do it at 5 second flat, 0-60 mph.

Posted by Anuj
and a Ferrari Enzo would do the same in 3.70 seconds....now we are going off the topic

Posted by Britshman
Buggati will do it quicker

Posted by Miss UK
Ahh jeez what have I begun.. :-D

Lets face it. Astons & Platinum, diamond encrusted phones, are ONLY going to be bought by daddies who spoil their little-snuggle-bumkin-rich-kid. Or buy the stuff for their own self gratification.
And sold by pompus pricks to rich pompus upper socialites with more money than sense

Who honestly would by one here. Even if you had the money. I would rather give it an etheopian to feed his family.

How about a Pagani Zonda Special Edition P900!!!

Posted by dwin_888
what about my ferrari 360 spider?? 0-62 mph 4.5 seconds

Posted by fijbert
@orangeman

honnestly, I am saving up money to buy the platinum vertu
I am putting that money in a safe at home waiting till I hit the break point
I guess I'm a phone enthusiast enuff to buy one

The Vertu would go well with a Ferarri with a gold plated engine, Louis Vuitton upholstery, those big fart-sounding mufflers (gold plated of course) and really, really loud bass speakers. Oh, and don't forget to wear your diamond encrusted pendant which is the size of a dinner plate with your name in emeralds or something, on a solid gold chain studded with diamonds as well.

@fijbert. Feed the family instead. For the childrens sake

I guess i am the poorest here then. :-D

The people who pay $24,000 of their phones don't give shit about the technology or the features it has.

And yes, you can also update the hardware, not only software of the phone.
