Is it possible to have free wap on the P800 using my adsl connection from my pc?

I dunno the answer to your q. You might post this in the p800 forum with a descriptive title and I believe that someone will help.

I am not sure if this answers your question, but I have noticed that when my p800 is connected to the cradle, and the PC is connected to the Internet, I can access Internet services without the GPRS coming on. When the PC is not connected to the Internet, the phone will use GPRS instead.
