I can't, I get a server error every time, due to the size of the data.

I've tried clearing the cache but it makes no difference.

Anyone had any luck? I'm with BT Genie.....

i ask to the moderators of the esato site to build up a quick sistem to load a themes,and they say to me that was impossible coz Ericsson won't be happy.
ok i can understand,but why i found another site where they stocked a themes and u can load?
i've tried to load but i was in rush and i had to stop the reciving item,but if someone else do it, why i have to find that, on another site ,and not on the esato one?

I found out how you can make you're own themes.

Go to the Sony Ericsson WAP page.http://wap.sonyericsson.com
- Themes
- Create own theme and save
- When you return to my private gallery it properly won't by there.
- Again create new theme. In the list you will see the one you made.
- Save it again and go back to my private themes.

Now you will find it there.

Than Download Opera at http://download.com.com/ and search for Opera. (or a nother wap browser) now you can download your own themes to you pc.

Send the themes to your Mobile. I'am using my ipaq and it works perfect.

I hope this well help... Good luck

Same thing - I cannot download pictures from ericsson wap site. I'm using t68i so I just use esato service - better selection of pictures and works faster.

Try to download the Matrix theme from Esato. http://wap.esato.com/themes/ I've made two versions. One with background image (6656 bytes) and one without (2048 bytes). You should at least be able to download the small one.

Excellent! Themes are now available on Esato WAP and I can actually download the Matrix theme without the background picture over WAP (I couldn't do this before as the files were too large). Nice one Esato!

Keep up the good work!

Does anybody know how to create more advanced themes than the ones you can make at SEM? Christersson.org has some themes, where the bar just under the menu title is personalized and they've also managed to put 2 background pictures in, one ordinary and another behind the main menu. How did they do that?

I have no problems downloading any themes at all, 'cause my operator supports large data transfer, which is required for this kind of services.

To create a theme. Take the following steps.

Login to

http://wap.sonyericsson.com/

press Themes
Press Greate new Theme
Press Edit button

Make a theme and save it
You'll get the message
The colorset was successfully saved

Press ok

press theme editor
press themes Gallery
press my Gallery

if your theme is not there do the following

press Create new Theme (yes again)
press Colour set and press the theme you have made

Save it again with the same name
Again You'll get the message
The colorset was successfully saved

Press ok

press themes Gallery

Now you'll find your theme saved

--------------------------------

Now download and install Opera 6.01

Open opera and go to the URL
http://wap.sonyericsson.com

press Login
give your name and password as you would on the sonyericsson page

press Themes
press my themes
press the theme you made

you'll be asked to save it

now your themes is on your disk.

now get it on your mobile and it's done...

(forgive me my bad englisch. i'am from holland)

Ed,

I agree, good job Esato! Don't think the software level on my T68 is high enough for me to successfully download though....

This is extracted from the Matrix theme from http://wap.esato.com/:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Ericsson_theme>
<Background_image Source="image.gif"/>
<Desktop_image Source="xxxx.gif"/>
<Title_image_medium Source="xxxx.gif"/>
<Title_image_small Source="xxxx.gif"/>
<Title_image_large Source="xxxx.gif"/>
<Title_image_asian Source="xxxx.gif"/>
<Standby_text Color="0x000000"/>
<Standby_text_outline Color="0xE0E000"/>
<Standby_operatorname Color="0x000000"/>
<Standby_operatorname_outline Color="0xE0E000"/>
<Standby_time Color="0x000000"/>
<Standby_time_outline Color="0xE0E000"/>
</Ericsson_theme>

Change the "Title_image_..." parts if you want to add images to the title-bar.
