How many phones do you buy in a year?
I have so far:t68i good phone, nice thinks but no java and bad antenne.
e700 great phone 2, but no email client, t9 very stressfull. and it's not easy to find a datacable.

I used to buy 4 phones a year.
Mad mad mad! However with constant help and guidance, I will not buy another phone in a year and a half (hopefully the T610 will last that long!).

From 2000 to spring of 2003 i had m35, then changed it to a lg g7000 (damn phone, was crashing 25 times a day, and restarted only by putting off the battery, and it lived only 3 months) and 4 months ago got a t310, will change it soon, coz it is \"ill\"

I don't buy fones, I just swap them with 2nd hand units too. I started the habit early March of this year, and to date, I've already traded around 16 fones - most of which are colored Nokia ones - only 2 SE fones made it to my list - a T68i and a potential SE P800 by next week!

@701 - I quite don't agree that people sell their fone because it has a problem . . . What can you say then to the people who are selling their fones at the 'Celfones For Sale Threads' ??? Lucky for me, out of the 16 fones that I traded during the past months, not even 1 fone have encountered such problems, I guess a fone that 'hangs' cannot be considered a problem (technical), because colored fones always tend to hang - most of the time. As I have encountered with my past trader's, majority of them trade/sell/swap their fones because of finacial matters/difficulties and some just want to upgrade their units . . . I am not discounting the fact that selling of fones does not totally contribute as a reason because they are damaged ones, they do at times as well, but not as a primary reason of selling them .

From september 2002 i had at that time a t68m(i) then had a samsung t100 (crap!). A t66 took me into 2003 then a t68i followed by a siemens s55. July 2003 got my t610 and a few weeks after that got a siemens sl55 that my wife uses and a coupe of weeks ago bought my P900!

Got a 7210 at the beginning of the year and though its still in excellent condition and nothing wrong with it at all, I've just bought a Z600 (delivery in a few hours hopefully, cant wait). After getting my girlfriend a T610 for xmas I had to buy a new mobile! Selling my 7210 on ebay to raise a bit of cash, so you could say I've just upgraded my phone. Hope its worth the money though!

The last year I've bought (obtained) several phones, a Nokia 6610 (I'm not wasting any more money on Nokia!) and sold it after 3 months for twice the price I bought it (stupid thing kept crashing and this guy wanted it so bad he paid me double!), a Ericsson t68m (which I had to convert to a t68i because it was dreadfully slow!), a mineral grey SE p800, a NEC n21i, a free Nokia 6210 (a phone which I don't mind losing at work or anywhere else) and lost but not least an "oldschool" Ericsson t18s (it reminded me of my old GF788 and I got it for free).
This year I don't plan on buying much but you never know!

seeing the amount of phone people get on here doesnt make me feel so bad about going from a thru 4 phones in the past year. t68i, t610, p800, z600. everyone is always shocked when i get a new phone, mostly because they all have the 3310

since some time last year i've had 2 gold T68's, a Nokia 7250(but really it wanst mine, i just handled it for 5 seconds, dont tell anyone), a T600 and now must trustful T610 which takes crap pictures but i will defend to the death...i was thinking of getting a P800 but its a bulky brick, then i thought i'd go for a P900 but decided on a penis extension instead.

Started the year with a T610. That one got a bit to wet(washing machine accident) and then decided to get a P800 that lasted me till the Z600 got announced. So sold the P800 and got a Z600. Getting a T630 and some symbian phone this friday when I get to dubai (edit: so I can get a head start on you guys this year.)

July bought a P800, Two T610's in August, one I bought as a present for my sister, then in October I got a SL55, December got a P900, and now awaiting stock for a SE Z600 or T630. I only really use the P900, and the others are for when I go out in the evening, and I put my sims in them.

(yes i know that the price of the phone is mangled in the subscription)
but i don't care, aslong as i don't have to pull my wallet and pay some ridiculous store price, i'm happy
and at the end of that year, i sell the phone and get on with the next one...
