PDAs and video formats

I have to do a lot of commuting and i get bored quite easily, so i've decided that i want a PDA to watch videos to keep me entertained, by the way these aren't dirty videos so no jokes.

What formats do Pocket PC and Palm support or is the P900 worth the cash?
