Hey I just found this out today. You know when you're writing an sms, typing the number 1 is a pain because you have to scroll through all the symbols first. Well, no more! Just press and hold the button "1" for two seconds and the cursor would jump straight to the number 1.

Errr... sorry to burst your bubble, but that has been known for years... for me anyway...
Also, if you are using multi-tap, the volume slider on the side works like a "shift" key when if you push it up, the second letter appears and when you push it down, the third letter appears instead. Before people ask what about key "7" and "9" which has four letters, push down and press the key, release the slider and press it again. Still faster than tapping it four times. I use to type in faster than a user with T9 but now has a P800 so I use the stylus more.

Nice trick! I didn't know that this is a "standard" SE features...you see I'm a converted Nokia user and this is my first SE phone.

Yea same thing works for every button? And as far as i know it in the manual! have to say i didnt know about the volume slider thingy tho. must give that a go.
