Has anyone tried any MMC cards over 128 MB with the HPM-10? I ask this because Expansys now have 256 MB and 512 MB cards available to pre-order.

I've got a 128 MB card which works great, and I like the idea of having a 512 MB card that could store over 150 tracks.

Just for your info, I posted a thread on the Expansys support forum about 256/512MB MMC cards. They said they've been told by that neither is compatible with the HPM-10.

However they also said they've had reports from people that have got the 256 MB card to work.

Fritz: What is your 128 MB MMC brand? I discovered that my Twinmos branded 128 MB MMC card doesn't work.

I can't remember as it's at home, but I think it's an Integral Memory one. I ordered it from Expansys.

If u encode ur mp3s at 96kbps on a 64mb mmc, hows the quality and how many can u store?

Posted by Fritz24
The quality is excellent and you can store probably around 20-25 tracks depending on the track length.
