@all
Is the (SE) bluetooth car available ba sa Philippines?
Where? How Much?
thanks
Posted by jrmi
Not yet. Release dates of certain accessories for SE phones, especially here in the Philippines are hard to determine. Always try to look at shop whenever you get a chance to pass by any of then.
Even if you ask local distributors of the accessories, they dont have any clues "basta dinadala lang daw sa kanila ang mga to."
I try to keep myself posted by reading news from this site (esato),
the fact is that, if these certain accessories are already available in certain markets abroad, give and take maybe a month and these gadgets would also be available in the local market.

Do you know if it is available in Norway yet?
Posted by jrmi
By the looks of it.
I believe it would be release sooner in the European nations.
When?, I dont really know.
The backlog of SE phones and accessories here in the Philippines is usually 3 to 4 weeks; meaning, that you guys would have probably have bought it already while here in the Philippines it is just being release in the local market.
Very much like the Z600. already some countries in Europe have had the opportunity to buy the phone, but here, it is still not available at the local SE dealers.

Well, the z600 is already available here in Norway. How much is the car going to cost? Can I order it from www.sonyericsson.com

Can any1 tel me What's the real motive behind the car? ;-) is it just hrs. Of fun?
Posted by CrackerJack
Yes, it is expensive for a toy. For the same amount of cash, you could get yourself a 1/12th scale remote control car. But if you love gadgets, like me... just got to get this one.

It's here in Switzerland in wide availability at Swisscom shops. I find it good, but the only problem is that for me it will turn more towards the right than the left...

There is a small lever located at the bottom (front) of the car. You could use this to compensate the steering/alignment of the wheels. Just move the lever to the opposite direction where the car is inclined to go.
This won't totally fix the problem, but it will help somewhat.

And How's it manouvered? With the joystick?
Posted by CrackerJack
Yes, you could use the joystick.
Or use the keys to control the car.
1 - Forward
2 - Left
3 - Right
4 - Backward
To control the speed:
* - 1
0 - 2
# - 3
Although, I didn't notice any change in speed.
The volume keys can also be used to control the car.

But the car came with the little thing on the bottom all the way towards the left. It helps the problem, because I tried moving that lever (what do you call it ?) towards the center or the right, and then the car has an even more serious left turning problem.

@dantec
In your first post, you said that the car tends to turn more to the right. Now, when you move the lever, it turns more to the left. It seems to me that you should move/adjust that in small increments, until such time that your car can move in a 'somewhat' straight line.

There's some problem. Don't know why the last posts can't be seen
Posted by dantec
Sorry i mean it turns left... only left... If i put the lever straight the problem is even worse. So the lever is turned towards the right as much as it can be but the car still turns left from time to time...

If your car still turns to the left eventhough the lever is already fully adjusted to the right, then I'd say the front wheels are messed-up.
Did you get the car from an authorized
dealer?
dealers here are supposed to give you 6 months warranty on accessories. Why don't you try having it replaced. Show them how the car runs, that should be enough reason for a 'defective unit' claim.
