Is there a way of making the highlight bar transparent?
I tried the best i could in the space theme by mixing the stars together using stars pic on the highlight and background pic but would love to be able to highlight just the menu words,hope this is possible

cant make it transparent. the best you can do is blend the highlight bar with the menu and change the color of the highlight text.
very difficult to do (blend) if you are using an image for the menu. very easy if youre using solid colors for the menu.

It's not the Theme Creator program Boyi, it's simply that the phone will not work with images other than gof or jpeg in the theme afaik.
what happens if you create an 'empty' image in you theme (or an 'empty' layer for your highlight image? )

@vlam,yes i know what happens but i was hoping that with computer technology being rather advanced these days it seems to me it would'nt be impossible. Btw,u would never catch me with a gof image on my phone! I've been thinking of doing a punk theme tho :-D

Well, looking at your stats mate you're nowhere near going over your bandwidth limit. You're averaging about 60MB per month and you're allowed 512MB so, no!
Besides, most hosts send you an email if you go over.

Yeah, that's because you're trying to download the .thm file without visiting one of your HTML pages on the server first. A lot of free hosts do this to prevent other web sites linking directly to your files, in other words the external sites should send visitors to your site (index.html, whatever...), not just provide a direct link to your themes.
This, of course, ensures that visitors see their advertising banners

No, what I mean is you have to manually go to the ps2 themes page, then click on the driver 3 preview image to download the theme. Hover the mouse over the preview image and look at the URL displayed in the bottom of the browser window. It's different to the direct link you gave in the post above
They use a CGI to prevent direct linking, honest
It doesn't matter if you have your site up first and then type in the link, it still won't work.

Well, I know you're probably not bothered now, but your site still seems to be working ok with my PC. I've downloaded a few themes with no problems at all.
I understand your frustration with the lack of comments about your themes. For what it's worth, I think they are excellent and you really should keep it up
No news is good news as they say. I'm sure that if your themes were c**p, there'd be a multitude of people telling you so and offering (unwanted!) advice on how to make them better.
Does this free host of yours provide web stats? Can you tell how many downloads there have been from your site? As an example, I have those two 'british old phone' midi ringtones on my site. No-one's said anything about them in the corresponding forum thread but both tones have been downloaded several times now.

august is right. just do what u feel. most of us seldom get comments too. look at my tread.
at the end of the day, we still keeps making themes for the love of it.
one comments for u, tone done on the colors of the text. there are a few ruleofthumb for colors co-ordination. it's hard to explain. easier way is to look at adverts & copywrites, & observe.
