how to delete emails from the POP3 server

I use the email client on my T610to read emails(POP3). How can I delete the messages from the server, just by using my phone? Because I think they do not get deleted.

if you delete messages on the phone the next time you perform a send and receive the message will be deleted from the server

AFAIK if you \"mark for deletion\" the next send & receive will delete from the server.

it wont be deleted right there and then. you should do a send receive again like the rest here is telling you

i have the same problem on my t68i... but i've deleted the account, it's an account i don't use anymore... how do i delete these messages from being listed on my phone?
