What would happen if i sent an mms to a nokia 3310 (a phone that doesn't have mms or wap)?
thanx

the carrier of the other person would usually send the person a text message giving a web address to view the MMS

how do i send a picture message to a nokia (3310)? from my T68i (a black and white one)
thanx

well for a start you need you operator wap settings to be working in the phone. you also need to configure the mms server to use in the MMS options and then you simply follow the instructions in the manual to create an MMS adding pictures, sounds, text etc etc

If you have all the settings already - just enter their mobile number & send it!

black and white pics are EMS.... no i dunno if the 3310 supports that... but you could try and insert it in a regular SMS and send it..... see what ahppens?

i tried sending an EMS it just come up on the other phone saying "this message can't be read here"

Edit: i've just thought of something, as the phone doesn't have GPRS how can it recieve mms, it should just recieve a text message. Is the message a wap address or a PC internet address (or even both)?
thanx

Is it possible to send a MMS to non MMS phone but it has to have GPRS and email like SE Z200. Then you can send that MMS to a POP3 email that can be recive through GPRS (SE Z200).

@malinda
the z200 doesn't support emails though it has GPRS.

masseur already posted it, and i'll simply echo it. the operator (usually) sends a regular SMS telling you the URL of the MMS message where you can view it from the internet using your PC's web browser.

the content of the sms would be something like mobeca described:
Quote:
ip direction then numbers and letters

.

An internet URL which you type into your browser so you can view. A password is also sent along with the URL so you can open the message.
