very, erm, different... not sure any phone camera would be able to produce a photo of that leaf in such quality though

xelibri ripoff. they just included better features. its the same concept.

Posted by fijbert
I like it

Posted by masseur
ooops! I made the mistake of showing my wife these! now she wants one!

Posted by Superluminova
from a design and innovation type of view these are great products as i shows nokia can innovate which can only be a good thing for the consumer in my opinon

Posted by Del
The first one looks like something out of a second rate sifi flick.

Posted by GoH
i still think their improvising on xelibri's concept. hmmm. evokes some deep thoughts. ah well.

Posted by shaggyhog
she is cute too!

but i am disappointed u upload via IR. now if it had been the bluejacking possibilities would have been amazing!

Your welcome!

@shaggyhog
exactly,
What about I-redjacking?
It shouldn't be much harder in the public transportation i.e.
And maybe bluejacking will be possible in their next Medallions:
Nokia Medallion Ii and IIi

I guess some pieces will be up for grabs in the Playtime contest !

Posted by Yazan24
Um Semo, I think they wont call them Ii and IIi, I think theyll be um.. III and IV

And ofcourse they dont have practical use, theyre for aesthetical purposes.

They have the same amount of practical use as a ring does.

And um, the picture doesnt have to come from a camera, u can download a high quality pic off the net on ure phone, and send it. So yeah I think they can have a leaf with that high quality. and if its from a cam, how bout a 1.3 MP cam. like 7610.

And finally infrared jacking. AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA, U know how hard ud have to align that to someones neck? hheheheh i think hell know.

if you look at the site 140 to 32 is a big drop.
Perhaps it's a sign.

regardless, It would look cool on me or my girlfriend.

Bought it.
Let me know if anyone receives theirs.

That means YOU masseur

(one quick question, just your name mean a person who massages? )

note it comes to a total of 37 pounds after everything.

I got my medallion today! woot!

Posted by axxxr
Mate i like you!

Can you possibly post some pics up of the medallion and your thoughts on it? Cheers pal!

Yeah it's charging now.
It's strange, when you charge it, it makes a sonic sound. Something like a sharp humming.

It's nice and chromey.
THe leather strap for the wrist (which allows you to use the medallion as a watch) looks nice.
The necklace part is ok, can't complain about that, the way it connects is with a tiny little peice of metal.

The watch function looks inverted (black background with white numbers and arms)

Althought the backlight is random (it's supposed to represent your mood)
you can press a button on the side to make it like up max for 30 seconds.

That's all I got for now. Got to let it finish charging.

Via ir Latest top of the line Nokias doesn't have ir just bt, could get a bit hard to transfer the pic then

Posted by Burgaz
So are they compatible with SE's ir? Or is it nokia only?

You can upload with a computer, so its posible with any pictures!

Posted by amnesia
uh.. they work with anything that can transfer JPEGS.

SE, MOTOROLA, PC's even your little finger (if it could send Jpegs via iR of course)
