T310 screen too bright After Secret Menu

On a new T310, in the "secret" Service Menu, as soon as I changed the Constrast level for the first time, the screen became TOO BRIGHT permanently ! Not even a Master Reset helped.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

I managed to get a new replacement phone, my GSM provider is very nice ! But I will not play with this submenu again, looking at SW Information is OK though.

I guess I only had one defective phone ?
