Hi...
I find it annoying flashing, ive only had this phone a Day now and it's irritiating! can the light be turned off, if not im gonna have to live with it
Another thing how do you check what software it has,
and someones always going on about Joystick counts where and how do I get that up on Screen?
ANY HELP MUCHO APPRECIATED!

All these questions can be answered by search, of course, because they have all been covered time and time again.
However...
NO. you can't turn the service light off.
To check firmware you enter the service menu by following the sequence (from the standby screen) of
> * < < * < *
where < and > are joystick movements.
You will find the joystick count in there too.

@miss uk
Lots of these answers can be found in the FAQ or by searching... however, to access the menu, go > * << * < * (where < is left, and > is right on the joystick).
All you need for the joystick count is there.
There are several ways to 'disable' the service LED, you could...
- Bung it in the microwave, this guarantees no signal
- Switch it off
- Get violent
Other than that, you're stuck with it I'm afraid
Edit:
Darnit masseur, you beat me by 3 whole minutes!!

fyi, although you didn't mention what firmware you got, the latest firmware for T68i is R8A015

you could always stick some tape on there, non-see-through, like duck-tape

I guess you've been there done that @ Masseur

You could open it up and remove the led.

You could make it flash red for signal and green for low power.

You can take a screwdriver and a small hammer, and carefully smash the LED....

I like the flashing led, cause i always find my phone during the night, and it gives a bit of life to it:o)
