Yes gandhi! You are right it is as bland as these pics
especially when it is winter and gets dark at around 3.30pm!!
You goto work when it's dark and come back home when its dark - bloody depressing in winters but a extraordinary place in summers when the suns blazing away and all the roofs come of all those lovly convertibles and clothes come of all those beauties !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Gandhi - I had not seen the filming i just know of the film coz im an indian aswell. There are loads of indians here in the UK. Not all railway stations are like waterloo this is because waterloo is an international station with trains leaving for Europe from here. Hope that answers your question.

Bollywood films do show in lots of theatres here. In fact films like K3G earned more money on per screen average then harry potter 1 !!!!!
Chalte Chalte did much better then alot of Hollywood flicks. DVD's also come out within 5 days so bollywood is very accessable.

@Anuj : 5 Days is great. Coz here in Mumbai there is kinda piracy control going on...so it takes a little while to get VCDs. But movie tickets are cheap. Some Rs. 50 to 80 (hardly GBP 1)

£5.50 here. you can pick up pirated dvd's from this place called southall in london for £5.00 for two films excellent prints aswell so well worth it. some times 3 in 1 dvd's for £5.00
