what did they say on the news?

they said that it was the most sold phone of 2001 here in belgium but at the same time its one of the worse phones on the market! more then 60% of the sold phones had problems most of them had a bad battery or the antenna did not function good. alsow a lot of bad keyboards and burned out display's

I'd assume a lot of phones would short out with water .

I read good reviews on the T68, and with some people having trouble with the phones at first, it doesn't seem that bad at all compared to the crap Nokia phones have.

it all depends on the one who uses the phone. if the user has no common sense then the phone will break down. handle all electronic devices with with care guys.

I've had mine for ages and it hasn't broken down yet, maybe it will for an T68i.

Hehehe

Try those G-Shock phones they're designed for splashs of water and being dropped.

I sure don't agree with Barts negative evaluation of the phone,

But just as sure I'm into my second device due to total failure
of the first on (R1A) I got in October, and the new one
is prone to crashing in WAP-mode (firmware probs maybe)

On the other hand, my Ooold Nokia 6150 also had a total failure
after about two months (my girlfriend thought I had some terrible accident as the phone died during a phonecall and was then totally dead...)

The charm of beeing an early adopter I guess

/H
