ey! i found a way to MINIMIZE fingerprints on the T610!
yeah...i emphasized the word MINIMIZE because i'm not giving the guarantee that it will prevent fingerprints on your T610.

i use MC all-purpose cleaning cream. i apply it on my T610 every morning. Although right after applying the cream, the phone don't seem to catch fingerprints, throughout the day, you'll notice that the effect of the cream wears off. This depends on how much you touch your phone. Nevertheless, its easier to clean. plus dust don't seem to stick on the phone either.

Its not fingerprints on the phone that bothers me, but marks on the screen, espcially oil from the skin after making calls, apart from a screen protector any tips on this?

would waxing it like a car help?

are u talkin bout the screen or the black part of the phone? ive a frisket on my screen so no prob.. bout the black part, i simply wipe it with cloth (included with my unit) once in a while and its as clean as new

@tinribs- save up for a Bluetooth™ headset.

use surgical gloves when using the phone?

or try getting a case
or better yet place it in a "condom" with the MC thinggy... lubricated!

well it juz really makes the phone less suseptible to fingerprints on the black area and the screen. it makes life easier for me coz i don't have to wipe my phone every now and then. besides, the cloth that comes with the phone does scratch the screen when used often.

I don't think thats strictly true mate, cloth can't scratch plastic, it will be the grime and small particles (of dust, dirt, stone, .....) that scratch the screen.

Isn't it a pain in the a**e to cover your phone in this cream every morning. I just got a case for £2.99 and its not bad and keeps the phone clean.

guys
i found the better way to keep the screen clean

Some products contain ingredients that can harm plastic, just use a soft cloth, those yellow dusters are good.
If you are very keen then maybe only touch your phone with chopsticks, these can be found at any good chinese food outlet.

...or you can just smear the phone with fat, so that additional fingerprints are not visible

@wrath000, I'm fed up with people like you posting on a serious thread, you sugestion is stupid, please dont post unlesss you have a sesible suggestion

@pachy
1. I am serious. Once you get a thin layer of fat on the phone, fingerprints are not visible...
2. "If you are very keen then maybe only touch your phone with chopsticks, these can be found at any good chinese food outlet." - Pachy
3. I don't think you are qualified to judge what's stupid and what's not
4. It is infact comments like yours that ruin the thread for everyone...

@701, i only ever touch my hair using chop sticks, it's very similar to eating noodles.

best way is just to treat your phone with care and wipe it with a nice soft cloth when it's dirty.

don't put it in a plastic cover, bit by bit dust and maybe small particles will get in... and continued rubbing of youir phone against the plastic will cause smudge marks (or scratches) which can't be cleaned off (even though they look like they can) especially on your screen...

just hold your phone tight when you're using it, so you don't drop it, don't toss it around, etc etc and everything will be fine.

thinking of getting a t610, is it pretty? is 2mb of storage acceptable??

and also, how many text messages can it store at one time??

@xtokiyax
1. yes
2. yes
3. ~70 give or take a few...

Ive got the perfect case for my t610, i use a soft cloth case from a pair of oakley sunglasses. the material is the same as the cloth that comes with the fone. and whatever prints gets on it gets wiped of in the pouch while its in my pocket.

one word "handsfree"

Posted by juggster
hey guys i know it is a really nice phone, but come on! i only wipe my t610 maybe once a week, it doesn't get all that dirty, maybe it does get some smudges on the screen, which i wipe off regularly, but that is the same as every phone! i think some of you may have just a bit tooo much time!, considering waxing your phones and creaming them up and all this! why not polish it and put it in a glass done in the center of your living room! hehehehehe

just wipe the phone with your tshirts!
