Trying to setup my email on my t610. I've got an o2 account. I've put in:
protocol: pop3
inc server: 193.113.160.013
inc port: 110
mailbox: my username (can't put full address cos won't allow full stops???!! i think this is the problem!!)
password: my password
out server: 193.113.160.013
out port: 25
email address: my email address
It says, wrong mailbox or password.
PLEASE HELP ME!!

Remember that:
1. Passwords are CAsE sensetive
2. Your username is not neccesserily the same as the first part of you e-mail address.

In mailbox insert your full e-mail adresse.
You can get a full stop by pressing 1 five times and the @ symbol by pressing zero three times
That should work

You don't need anything more then username in "mailbox". For example my setup could be like this:
incoming server: mail.nosuchmail.com
mailbox: wrath
password: CaSe_sensEtivE
e-mail address: wrath000@nosuchmail.com
outgoing server: mail.nosuchmail.com
...if you would just replace the fake e-mail address with a real one, you would get my set-up, and it works
By the way, since I am using dns names instead of IP addresses for the server, I had to set up a DNS server in the data account.

There are providers that REQUIRE more than just the username. For example: Portland.Co.UK requires that when typing your username in an email program (i.e. Eudora, Outlook, or in this case, T610 Email client), you MUST key in not just username but the whole username@mail.portland.co.uk.

hello, may i know how and where we can find out what to type in "Mailbox" and "password"??? i think we cannot anyhow create the mailbox and password in the phone right? then how can i know which is the mailbox and password should be type in????

mailbox and password and the values you would use on your pc to access your POP3 email. In many cases it is also the same username and password you would use to log into your ISP.

hmm, but perhaps try both the full email AND the username...one would assume that it would just be the username...it is on orange at any rate.....
