Software says "No T610 series detected" (Cable connect)

I installed the drivers for my DCU-11 usb cable, and the computer has found the phone. It is listed as working properly in the Device Manager. When I open any of the programs that came with the phone they don't detect my phone. My phone is a T616, and I am running Windows XP Pro. What am I doing wrong? I have searched and searched but unable to find any info on this.

Never fails, the second I ask for help I figure out the problem. Everything working fine now.

hi!! i am also facing the same problem right now!
I installed everything, and the computer detected it and shows no problems.
But when i open programs like "sendfile" or "image editor," they don't detect the phone.
I am also using DCU 11 by the way...
Can anyone please help me????

I have this problem as well, but I found a solution. start the sony ericsson Image editor program, and wait for it to detect the phone, then all you got to do is start the other program you want, for example Sendfile, and it should detect the phone. For some reason, though, I don't think Sendfile 2.0 works in this way, I tried it and it didn't work, I had to download and use Sendfile 1.0

well, i am glad u solved yours...
because i tried your way, and it still doesnt work.
the image editor doesnt even detect the phone...
