I have recenlty purchased a T616 phone and I am unable to setup/use the internet on this phone. I have tried Cingular tech support and they are almost useless! I spent hours and hours on the phone with them and they don't even know their own product. The Cingular store I bought it from told me to call support since they don't know how to set it up.
Apparently I have several Data Accounts pre configured on this phone (Photo Messegning, EXPRESS, ect) but none are working and I cannot connect.
I found couple posts on this site, but was unable to connect. I have a Mywirelesswindow account and I am not sure if I even need that. Do I use the userid and password tech support gave me to connect (WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM)
I was given the following info but cannot connect:
APN: http://device.home wap address)
UserID: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: cingular1
IP: 66.209.11.61
I can't believe it is this difficult to configure - and Cingular has nothing on their website and their tech support is CLUELESS on the settings.

yup for some reason my internet was also messed up with cingular, i called their tech support, wasted about 50 mins, got transfered about 90 times, and the result was me hanging up cuz they're so damn useless. i ended up taking my poor t616 to cingular headquarters, which is luckily near by, and they managed to fix it.
