Samsung S300/C100 Software - Easy GPRS

hey ... i am having a lot of trouble using this software.. i use an IR connection with my phone and my friends phone and this is the software that came with it (easyGRPS) and it wont allow me to connect to the phone.. or for that matter do anything with the software due to it not being online or some such rubbish.. ne help wud be appreciated!

First of all unistallyour software and the Standard modem of the phone in modem options(xp or etc.).Now install once again your software from the EasyGPRS cd.Then install your S300 modem by just pointing it to the IR eye of your pc,it will install automatically the hardware properties of the phone internal modem as a "Standard modem over IR link"(at least in xp).The software installation has created two shortcuts on your desktop,1.GPRS Wizard(Create connections with use of the phone modem,settings are preinstalled for almost every network operator),2.EasyGPRS(a kind of pc suite for controlling phone functions from pc).By doubleclicking the GPRS Wizard icon,it will recognize in the following setup procedure the IrDA modem you already have installed,everything is easy from there,you will be guided.Note that Samsung may be not having many features compatibleand funfull as in phones,but as modems GPRS they are really fast (class 10) and stable (depending on local network coverage+sygnal strength which goes for all phones).
