P800 and BIP

does anyone know if earlier firmware for the P800 supported the BIP profile?(image transfer from bluetooth cameras -sony FX77-etc..)
and is it a option on current versions..?
I use a t610,and have no problems,but a friend is having trouble pairing the two devices,(P800 and DSC-Fx77)-will a firmware upgrade add the profile?
