As you may guess its a way of clearing out predefined items on your phone. There are many many posts on the 13 second trick so do a little bit of searching.

i did a master reset then deleted all the predefined sounds and pictures and i got 1024k. no need to do 13 sec trick!

it is true. note i did the master reset then deleted EVERY preset sound and all but one (the SE logo) pic from the phone.

i did the 10 sec trick and i got 886kb free.i wasn't satisfied so i tried doing the trick many times.the most i got was only 891 kb.when i did the 13 sec trick. the memory decreased.so the 10 sec trick is more reliable.i will repeat the 10 sec until i reach at least 1000kb.but is that safe?will it affect my fone's performance?

Hey guys,I made the 5 sec trick and I had 1128 kb of free memory and the predefined don't come back at all when I master reset the phone.But...the colours on my phone fucked up!!They are all brighter and I can't do anything for that!I have to send it to a service center and there's the possibility not to repair it,because the settings of the colours that are stored in the ROM have deleted!!!This is what happens with that trick!And that trick cancel the warranty!!:-(

Hey, i just got a t68i today!
i used to have the t300 (kinda miss it), and decided to reset my 68.
on a basic master reset i was able to get 1030kb free. I havent tried the 13 sec trick yet on this fone, but am happy with 1030 as i dont want to loose games n tones etc.
