thanks for the replies.

seeing that i have the T610 i have heard that it doesn't work well at all with SE bluetooth headsets... this true ?

T610s that were manufactured earlier than 03W24.. from what we've experienced here in the Philippines, exhibit crackling noise when used with a Bluetooth™ headset.

Swedens leding mobilemagazine (mobil) tested bluetooth
headsets in their last issue:

-Anycom HS-660
-Bluespoon Digital
-Motorola HSW8000
-Jabra BT200
-Jabra BT300
-Plantronics M3000
-Nokia HDW-2
-SE HBH-30
-SE HBH-60

HBH-60 won the test!!!

wow, that's very pleasing to hear

just hope it works on my phone... will pop into town at lunch time and buy one and see....

I would like to have one my self
but i've just bought the phone sim free
so i'am lacking the founds needed
but next month i buy one too!!

If you have glases they told you too try the
headset on as it could be sligtly uncomfortable..

And i also hope it will work great with the t610
they tested it with a t68 and an N8910i and they both
worked great with te HBH-60

Get a full refund most places like Expansys sell it for under £100 or if they will get them to price match

bub

so far cheapest i've seen it is £87

if its good i will get it there ... wanna tes it out first that's all

If that girl comes with the headset I'll have two... even though I think there may be some silicon there!

£150 is far too much for the HBH-60 I think even Orange shops have them for less. As others have said, you can get them for under £90.

Paid £102 a few weeks back via the SE website. They usually are cheaper than anywhere else.

They now have $10 off accessories too... BTs are included...

The HBH-35 seems to be a winner of a headset.Clearer sounding than the HBH-60. The longer boom mike makes all the difference.

just purchased an HBH-35 on ebay for 109 usd. no static, approx 20ft range, flawless voice commands/dial, standby and talktimes are as advertised (5h). traded jabra bt200 due to static/crackle. cons: not discrete, does not feel "right" on the ear if you're wearing glasses.

Got the HBH-35. Its great. No static or crackel.

Is there any Plantronics M3000 user who can share his/her experience with this headset ?
What do you think of this comparison chart (source Plantronics) :

I used to have Plantronics M1500 and not was impressed with at all. The battery life is like 40 minutes at best. The only good thing about it is that the battery is user-replaceable unlike Ericsson's.

Fair comment about M1500!

The M1500 was an adapter kit for non-bluetooth phones, so is not comparable to the M3000 in anyway.

Early M3000 samples perform to claimed specification, should be in shops real-soon-now.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think HBHxx-users look really, really, really daft? I just can't bring myself to get one...

LOL

FYI, M1500 kit includes adapter AND BT headset M1000. It's M1000's quality I was talking about... If the same technology is used in M3000, it's a good indicator that it's going to be another dud from Plantronics.

@semka

The M3000 uses very different technology to the M1000, this can be seen from looking up Bluetooth Qualified Products.
