I've managed to get my T610 to send and receive emails by GPRS using my btopenworld account. I have the phone check for emails every hour. When they arrive however there is no audio signal as there is when you receive a text message. Is there any way to to do this? I can probably set up my BT account to text me every time I get an email, but this seems a bit pointless as I;m already receiving the emails anyway.

T68i has options under messages which gives you an option to change the message alert,does the t610 have this? ;-)

yes it does. But that only changes the alert tone for SMS messages. I have been wanting an email alert for ages but still nothing.

me too (email alert) and also let me select the check interval minutes from 1 to whatever... in increments of 1, not this 5 minutes then 30, 60... etc rubbush!
