Does anyone know of an email account where not only does it provide you with POP access to it, but it can also go and get email from your other POP accounts and consolidate them in one place - that way I can get my email from handset from one place.

Thanks

?? Any email service which does allow remote access to other POP/IMAP servers will not do this online (i.e. on your phone). What email account do you have which does not allow you to access via POP?

Go to www.hotpop.com and make an account. it's FREE

i think he means he has many pop email accounts and he wants 1 email account to check all of his accounts so he only has to set up 1 account on his phone to check all his emails.

hotmail do this but you can only axx from mobil.msn.com or www.hotmail.com i dont think they have pop or imapi axx anymore

hmm thought so... you wont be able to do that remotely.

You have to set up your other POP3 accounts to FORWARD the mail to the one POP3 account you want.
It is impossible to set up a POP3 account to RETRIEVE mail from other accounts.

Hope that helps

T-Mobile lets you get pop mail. From sites that let you. I check them separately, but all from the phone. Best of all: alerts from sender with subject header and to which email acct so I know if there is anything important 2 check.

well you cannot do auto forwading on standard pop servers.
The only suitable method for retreiving multiple email accounts is to set up multiple email accounts on your phone and send/receive them that way. It isn't ideal and may take a while but at least it will work.

Well I can forward on all my POP3 accounts (and not just POP3 accounts)

Automatically? without having downloaded them to a mail client first?

if i understand this right, what you want is to setup up a web/wap accessible email account that allows you to retrieve email from other pop accounts and consolidates(BIG word alert) them into 1 inbox.

this used to be possible for free on Hotmail, now you can only retrieve from pop accounts if you subscribe...however i'm not sure you'll be able to retrieve additional pop email when connecting to hotmail via wap or retrieving via hotmail pop settings.

someone mentioned multiple accounts in your phone, but this deletes messages from your phones inbox when you switch between accounts...not practical & your limited to 3 accounts on the T68.

Yes I just found out the limitations of using seperate accounts.
Like I said many posts ago, you cannot do this remotely.

Yes, I can forward the mail offline (without downloading it with e-mail client first). The POP server even supports filtering 'To/From' fields and forwarding only the mail that matches the filter. Rather convinient. I can basically use the account as a server-side spam buster . This allows my phone to remain spam free.

@ Jowi: What are we supposed to be looking at?

@ phil: at the POP3 e-mail settings : let's post them here!!! - thread

the idea I'm sure is to keep things in 1 thread so they'll be easier to find

Posted by phil.n
I can see that.
My point is that the email settings thread doesn't help this guy out at all - this is a specific problem which we are trying to resolve.

Posted by wrath000
I second phil.n on that. The other thread has no relevance to this one. We are discussing the actual POP3 account settings here, not the t68/t610 mail client set up
