Is anyone else having problems setting up Vodafone Mail on their T610 ?
I have tried three times now and every time I have knocked out the vodafone live account settings the Vodafone network people do not seem to have any answers, I think I have more faith in this newsgroup!

I had problems setting up Vodafone Mail (any mail account, actually) when I first got my phone. I called Vodafone about 5 times and got 5 different answers on how to solve the problem, without much success. Luckily the fifth guy seemed to know his stuff and sent me an e-mail detailing how to set up the GPRS data account and the Vodafone Mail account. After going through it I managed to connect first time.

I've pasted the e-mail in below. Hope it helps.

genius...I've been trying to sort that for ages! The secret is obviously to have the special data account settings, as all the pop3 settings are as I had tried before!

Hi,

Used that information and can now receive email from my vodafone.net account, but, I still can't send email. Any ideas?

Ian
