Leaving messages on server using POP3 on P800

How do I leave the messages on the server when I download my messages via POP3 to my P800? I have been unable to find the setting. I need to be able to go back later and read my email on my computer. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a P800 any more but my messages were always left on the server unless I deleted them in the P800 and connected to the server again.

I don't recall seeing any option to ALLOW you to delete messages from the server when they are downloaded and a quick check of the online manual doesn't show any such option either.

Are you deleting your messages on the P800 before you have collected them on your PC?

Thanks so much, you are right!

At the office, when I use to download my messages to outlook, it deleted them from the server. Then, I finally found the setting to leave the messages on the server. I thought it was the same way, but I just tested it again and the messages are still on the server.
