Apple's Quicktime Pro has a good basic midi editor

As these kind of editors seem to be few and far between especially for Macs.
Handy if you have a full midi track and only want a small portion of it for your ring tone. I edited a couple of mine to cut down on space, now they are 4k and 8k instead of 37k and 48k
