Animated GIF in WAP on t610i?

Does anyone know if the T610i can view an animated GIF inside a WAP page? From my testing it appears that it cannot, which surprises me given that just about every other color WAP phone on the market can.

Anyone know anything more about this?

I believe it says in the white paper somewhere that T610 will not show animated gifs in wap.

...could be wrong though...
