Yahoo email on T68i - Esato archive

I have set up as instructed in other threads my t68i to get my yahoo email off, i can get my mail off but cant seem to send email using it, just says send failed!!! Can anybody help out?

if you are connecting via gprs you will need to put in the ip address of your service provider in the outgoing server to send mail
i.e. orange uk is 193.35.131.155

forgot i can only connect using GSM so it dials up!!!

It doesn't matter whether you connect using GPRS or GSM, you have to use your service providers smtp server.
Find out your operators smtp server, go to your DOS/CMD prompt, type "ping smtp server address" (sans quotes) and use the IP address which appears in the list of data.

set your fone to gprs not gsm data so it will not dial-ip mate...
