in camera mode if u move the joystick up or down, it adjusts the brightness, which can make the picture sharper.

also by switching to the smaller size picture, u get a substantial ZOOM effect.

Just realized that I have a camera on my phone...

Posted by je4ns
My brightness isn't adjusted, I dont see any bar sliding or anything of the kind, and I cant see any difference in the picture...

Weird, I'd really like that option

Posted by Aqu4rius
There is no bar, but you should notice the brightness change.

actually its not for camera brigthness but for shutter speed. it does help a lot but needs a steadier hand.
You may also try while in cam mode pressing keys:
1 for picture size which give you zooming effect.
2 for toggling normal and nigth mode.
3 for effects (pressing same key toggles you to effects available) and
4 for self timer mode.

may i aslo add besides moving the joystick up or down for shutter speed adjustment, by moving it left or rigth also adjusts color saturation.

I can't get any of the above
Is it dependant on firmware version?

Posted by jnorberg
yes, you must have R1L...

Posted by ferrarista44
it is hardware dependent.
my gf's used-to-be 03W20 (R1A) doesnt have it.
my friend's 03W25 (R1A) has it.
my gf swapped for a 03W25 (R1A), her phone has the feature now.

That was not ment for you. These camera tricks have been posted several times already. The firmware had also been discussed in those threads

Posted by jnorberg
you mean i have right. right? Itīs not a hardware issue?

Posted by wrath000
It's not a hardware issue. It's a firmware issue. These camera features where added in R1L. One only has to go to service center to get the newest firmware (and this new camera functionality).

ps. jnorberg, you are entirely right
