can anyone tell me about the functionality available using the T610 and a bluetooth enabled digital camera? I'm getting the Sony FX77 for my birthday (i am loved!) and i'd love to know what it's capable of. According to the spec, the Bluetooth technology allows you to transfer images from the camera to devices supported by Basic Image Profile technology without using a cable, and also remote video camera functionality!
Does the T610 support BIP?
Will i get the viewfinder of my camera on the display of the phone, and take pictures remotely?
Or just transfer the images from the camera to the phone - i know file size will be a huge issue for this one

What bluetooth profiles (services) can you see in the camera from PC?

It shows the T610 is NOT a BIP-Client, though it is a BIP-ImagePush, the latter to allow it to transfer pictures from its own camera.
I fully supports OBEX and OPP, so that may get you some mileage. If you have Bluetooth enabled PC, you may be able to transfer images from Camera->PC->T610.

Nice try... Easily spotted from the source code, that this was simply written by you...
But you almost got me, as I did in fact check the source code!

Well, I can confirm (and put up a separate post about this very subject) that it IS possible to send pictures by bluetooth from the camera to the phone. I've done it!
