T68i conection to PC via Gigabyte BT toggle

I've managed to pair the devises using the software on the cd which came with the Toggle. But that is all! I managed to do something with the serial ports which gave me the option of sending files to my phone but when i click to do it, it trys to connect then says failed. And likewise when these ports are open if i go to the option on my phone to send photoes or whatever via BT is says not availible at pressent. So i turn off the serial ports and the option is now availible but it still can't connect. Is there somthing im missing out or is BT not as easy to use as Infared ports? any advise whould be appreciated.
