T68 problems - Esato archive

Hello

I have had my T68 for about 2 weeks now as i got it second hand and i have noticed every time i turn it on in the mornings it will say SOS Calls Only. I turn the phone off and then On again and it comes up with Bt Cellnet also i set the alarm a few days ago and when i turned it off the screen just went white and i had to take the battery out to clear it.

Would this be a firmware problem as it is currently R1b and has anybody used The Carphoneware to upgrade there phone if so how much does it cost?

Go to the nearest service point center to change your sw, the last is R7A ....

I used carphone warehouse to upgrade my T68 to a T68i, they check if the phone is still under warranty and if so the upgrade is free, if not I believe it is Ł35. It won't solve your ''sos'' calls message though, mine still does it.
